Synthesis and Characterization of Some Novel Coumarin-1,2,3-triazole Derivatives Via Click Reaction as Novel and Evaluation of Anti bacterial and Anti fungal Agents

A new series of diverse 7-((1-(benzyl-1H-1,2,3-triazol-4-yl)methoxy)-2H-chromen-2-one and its derivatives (4a-l) has been synthesized via click reaction and [2 + 2] cycloaddition in the presence of different Copper catalysts between various 7-(prop-2-ynyloxy)-2H-chromen-2-ones (2a-c) and substituted benzyl azides (3a-e) in good to excellent yields by using diverse 7-hydroxy-2H-chromen-2-ones (1a-c). All the newly prepared intermediates and products are characterized by elemental analysis and various spectroscopic techniques. Finally all the title compounds have been used to evaluate their antibacterial and antifungal activity against some bacterial and fungal organisms.
